Charlene Lutz is the author and illustrator of Fox’s Winter Journey (Maine Authors Publishing) and a space holder for inspiring creativity. She is an artist and educator with over 20 years of experience in multiple school and nature-connected settings. Offering workshops and retreats across Maine and beyond, Charlene is also a teaching artist with Waterville Creates in Waterville, Maine and an adjunct at Antioch University, New England. She sets intentional time throughout the week to explore how writing, mixed media and bookmaking overlap in her life.
“I had the good fortune to have Charlene Lutz teach workshops at Heart Space...a spiritual wellness venue in Media, PA. Many in attendance were not school taught artists but any person present was able to learn new ways to put paint and other mediums to canvas, paper or wood. Charlene introduced me to ink painting, mixing paints and using oil pastels to create different effects. Charlene allowed everyone the freedom to create from their own experience and level, and from where we were in our lives...in our mind and heart.
